This year, the Model UN club has entirely new student leadership and is having tons of fun debating geopolitics in a respectful, but enjoyable manner. So far we've only run some practice simulations while discussing the parliamentary procedure and bill writing, but it's never too late to join! We plan on going to a couple of completely virtual conferences later in spring and are super pumped. We're really excited for this year, and actively encourage anybody even thinking about joining to pop into a meeting, or talk to Ms. Brookes, myself, or our other captains, Camden Olsen and Katie Hughes about joining!

Model UN is a club whose main activity is having students role-play as delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. We discuss a wide range of current and historical topics in moderated debate and work to pass resolutions. The goal is to practice debating and public speaking skills among a diverse body of people with different and sometimes conflicting opinions and perspectives. Our main conference is in Boston in March but we always have meetings each Thursday or roundabouts.
