YARMOUTH, Maine - What would you do to survive a night in the wild with the forces of nature and evil against you? The movie Rogue answers this question.
The movie, starring Megan Fox, is an action film that takes place in the hot savannahs of South Africa. I would give the movie four out of five stars because the high packed action scenes are filled with good humor.
This movie was made and created by filmmakers M. J. Bassett and Isabel Bassett and produced by Kyle Ambrose, Delon Bakker, M. J. Bassett and Molly Hassell. Fox plays Samatha O’Hara, a special forces contractor for hire. Her tactical rescue team of diverse highly skilled individuals are brought to South Africa to extract a young hostage. During the mission, they face diplomatic issues with the fate of a country's future and human lives on the line.
In the desert they face many challenges in their battle for survival, one of the biggest being the wild lions that seem to be everywhere, lurking in the shadows with a bloodthirsty urge for revenge.
This movie deserves only four out of five stars because I feel like the ending was too abrupt with no explanation given of what was happening. It left me, the viewer, disappointed or uneasy about the outcome. While this may have been intentional, I personally think it was not a good way to end the movie.
I really liked the cinematic experience of this movie in the horror it created when lions were on the verge of making their kill. Playing nerve-racking music at certain points in the movie which caused me to feel every experience of the characters.
Take my word for it and experience the cinematic adventure of Rogue in the comfort of your home.
